Welcome to Highschool

Azelma glanced at her sister who was leaning against the street sign with her sunglasses down. "'Ponine?" Azelma tapped Eponine's shoulder, there was no response, Azelma shook her shoulder even harder still, and nothing.

"Hello Azelma, 'Ponine" Courfeyrac greeted the two sisters, "I think she might be dead..." Azelma answered flatly.

"Really now?" Courfeyrac asked curiously before jabbing Eponine in her side, she let out a loud high pitched shriek, "What the hell was that for?!?" She asked angrily. "Checking for any signs of life, you were worrying 'Zelma" Courfeyrac explained.

Eponine ran her hands through her hair trying to compose herself, "It's way too early for this..." she grumbled.

"Well, just think... One more week and I'll have a car of my own!" Courfeyrac smiled, "you still won't be out of my hair," she muttered.

"'Ponine, nothing could get out of your hair!" Courfeyrac laughed before tugging on one of her long tight curls, which then sprung back into place. Eponine cast him a dark look, "why on earth does my hair amuse you so much?" She asked sourly, Courfeyrac shrugged his response.

"Hey you two! Bus is on it's way!" Azelma called out, Courfeyrac and Eponine walked over to the bus as it pulled up to the corner. The doors opened and the three piled on to the bus looking for seats.

"By the way 'Ponine? Can you help me with my art project?" Courfeyrac asked before sitting himself beside his friend Marius. Eponine let out a small laugh, "are you kidding?" before setting herself down in the empty seat across from him.

"Hey guys!" Cosette waved as a few of her friends got off their bus, "How is it you are always so cheerful in the morning? Please do explain." Eponine asked pleadingly. Cosette laughed, "well early morning practices do help I suppose."

"Well... I have to go find Enjolras, need to talk to him about government class!" Courfeyrac called before running over to his fellow group of Juniors.

"See you Antoine!" Eponine yelled, she noticed that Courfeyrac visibly stiffened at the use of his first name. She couldn't help but smile slightly at her small and almost insignificant victory.

"I hate to burst your bubble everyone but have you checked the time?" Marius tapped the face of his watch, "Damn! I'm dead if I'm late again!" Eponine cried out before taking off into the building. Marius and Cosette followed while Azelma and her friends went to their classes.

Another day was about to begin at Victor Hugo Highschool.
